Right from the moment you turn into The Grove’s driveway, you’ll enjoy amazing views over the hotel golf course and estate in Hertfordshire. You’ll arrive to a warm greeting at golf reception, where the valet parking and golf club services are second to none. Meanwhile, you can get ready in your reserved locker area and enjoy an energy-giving light breakfast or snack. Warm up on the practice range with your very own pyramid of balls then take your golf cart to the first tee ready for a challenging 18 holes. Our on-course Players’ Assistant will be there to lend a helping hand if you need them… although tips on your stroke will be strictly on request only!

Clockwise on the M25
Leave at Junction 19, following the signs to Watford. At the first large roundabout take the third exit (A411 towards Watford). After half a mile, the entrance to The Grove will appear on the right hand side.
Anti-clockwise on the M25
Leave at Junction 20, following the signs to Watford. At the first large roundabout take the second exit (A411 towards Watford). After half a mile the entrance to The Grove will appear on the right hand side.

Pro Shop: A little pricey but excellent and well stocked.
Clinics: Available for any size of group.
Driving Range: Excellent practice ground, practice balls supplied free of charge and are laid out in a professional pyramid style.
Putting Green: Very good and near the first tee.

COMMENTS
Pros:
1. The course is always in superb condition with fast greens.
2. Excellent access from motorway and central London.
3. Friendly, helpful and well trained staff.
4. Great bag drop and valet parking service.
Cons:
1. A very expensive venue (You do get what you pay for though).
2. The Grove is a huge resort and function rooms for dinners can be a long walk from the golf reception.
