Brocket Hall is a fantastic venue that boasts two of the best Championship courses in the country, each of them has its own very distinctive characteristics, from the lake on the 18th of the Melbourne Course to the tall trees which surround you wherever you look on the Palmerston Course. Both courses are a true test of golf for even the low single figure player and with undulating fairways and well-guarded greens.
Melbourne course
Named after Lord Melbourne, this course is fantastic. Some really good par 4's have been created along with a variety of par 3's, ensuring that the round never becomes boring. For most people this is not what they will remember about the Melbourne Course, the one picture they will take away is that of the 18th and the ferry journey across the lake, which may be the only one in the British Isles.
Brocket Hall can be described as a truly memorable and outstanding venue, where when you leave you can't wait to return the next time!
